Mission Statement (Purpose of Society)
The American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science - Indiana is an incorporated, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to the following purposes:
- To promote higher standards in clinical laboratory methods and research.
- To elevate the status of those individuals specializing in clinical laboratory technique.
- To emphasize, teach, and maintain the intellectual, moral, and ethical commitment of the professional clinical laboratory worker.
Individual Society Member Responsibility
The individual member of the Society has responsibility toward the Society, such as:
- Being well-informed of the business and activities of the Society.
- Supporting the Society by attending meetings at the local, state, regional, and national level.
- Serving in any capacity in the Society when appointed or elected and by attending all meetings necessary to their capacity in the Society.
