Although P&G is a very successful organization, it has many weaknesses that affects their business in many ways. Firstly, their type of organizational structure is very slow as it is not a modern organization and includes a lot of strategic business units so this affects the organization as a result of slow decision making. Secondly, the percentage of the increase in their customer base is very slow comparing to competitors as their products life cycle are mainly on a saturation curve which leads P&G to a low organic growth. Thirdly, their health and beauty products are mostly made for women which makes those categories of products result of a lower profit or lower sales compared to the other categories they produce. Lastly, P&G are a very wide organization that operates in a very large scale which could lead to inefficiency and that could affect their quality control.
