I have always spent a lot of time thinking about applying for University to study fine art, as it is a subject which I am passionate for and preform very well in. The university courses which I am practically interested in is art and design and fine art, as they will help me to gain more knowledge in art, learn new skills and achieve better qualifications, which will help to achieve my dream job of becoming an art teacher. ( Courses).
From an early age, I have massively enjoyed art, as I loved to design Birthday and Christmas cards every year and draw everything. Since school I have started to be more fascinated and passionate for art, as I believe art is a visual representation of history, emotions, imagination, past, expression, present, which is meaningful. Art lets me express myself through a piece of artwork, by working with several colours, the way of painting/drawing, to show the emotion.
I extensively enjoy art courses, as each new project educates me; learning new techniques, learn about a variety of artists and trying exciting practical work, which allows me to use any chosen materials. It’s enjoyable experimenting with colours, tone, subjects and mediums; the outcome of mixing different aspects provides interesting results.
From studying art GCSE and art and design level 3, I believe that I already retain many skills, which are necessary to enter this course.
Visiting galleries is fascinating, as we see the emotions, views and beliefs of the artists. Viewing galleries artworks helps me be more inspired and creative when making my own art.
