Professional relationship is how we behave and interact with other people at the work environment

Professional relationship is how we behave and interact with other people at the work environment. The key to establishing respectful and professional relationship with adults is to treat everybody the same way as we would want to be treated. This means being polite, respect others and their opinions, be approachable and give support when needed or required. Also we should make sure that we respect other colleagues’ jobs, know what our role is within the organisation and what are its expectation. We should follow the rules and policies of the organisation and make sure role model them when being with adults or children. We should also be mindful of different cultural differences and other colleagues views and opinions. We all should strive to be a good team players and make sure we do not gossip or belittle our colleagues.
If any of this is not followed it could result in disharmony between the adults in the school and this could negatively impact children and the young people as well, such as their behaviour or their learning
