Scanning electron microscopy and High Resolution TEM were used to understand the microstructure and morphology of the ferrite systems under study. SEM images (Fig. 2a,b,c,d) reveal that the samples comprise of spherical shaped particles in the nano size scale which are slightly agglomerated which is due to magnetic interaction 29. HRTEM image as in Fig.2e for the undoped mixed ferrite confirms the obtained morphology. The selected area electron diffraction (SAED) pattern as depicted in Fig.2f consists of sharp concentric rings which confirm the formation of highly crystalline nanoparticles. Each diffraction ring corresponds to a set of lattice planes with same miller index.
