The female reproductive system is very complex and unique organic system involved in sexuality and fertility. It is well coordinated organ group that exist for the purpose of preparing for and maintaining pregnancy. It includes various organs such as vagina, uterus, ovaries, fallopian tubes and breasts. In breasts are located mammary glands wich are accessory organs of the female reproductive system. They are specialized to produce and secrete milk due to following pregnancy. Almost all instances of breast cancer originate in the lobules in ducts of the mammary glands. Breast cancer si the most prevalent cancer among women and affects approximately one milion women worldwide. Woman’s body monthly goes trough a series of hormonal changes which causes egg follicule to develop in an ovary and uterus tissue thickening for potential fertilized egg implantation. Ovaries are female pair of glands where eggs are manufactured and stored. They also produce hormones crucial for reproductive system and cycles. If the pregnancy doesn’t occur thickened tissue and egg are dispensed trough menstrual cycle. The reproductive system is responsible for maintaining pregnancy if it occurs troughout nine months approximately. The vagina is elastic and muscular organ which conects uterus with outside of the body. Females are born with a lot of egg cells in ovaries. First menstruation ocurr in puberty and is called menarche. Menstrual cycles last to menopause, the last menstruation which happens around fifty years of age.
